7/17/2007 Dear Jeff and Barbara,
We're glad you enjoyed the pictures of Lilee. She really improved
when we moved into our new home. She is in our office where there is
someone either working on the computer or passing through. The toys
from you really keep her busy and I believe get her mind off of picking
her feathers. Regarding any supplements, no, we don't use any. We make
up a mixture of 5 kinds of beans (cooked), rice, pasta, corn, peas,
carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower that we freeze into bags and divide
for each of my three birds at home. She also receives organic sprouts
each day (from Avian Fresh, formerly China Prairie), as well as two
small scoops of Harrison's pellets (the adult lifetime coarse). That's
about it. Of course, she occasionally gets a Nutri-Berry or a spray of
millet. She also rarely gets a small piece of pizza crust which she
adores. It did take a long time for her to get to this point and we're
not sure whether it was one factor or a combination of several that made
the difference, but we're so glad she responded.
Thanks for your continued interest in her and for your great toys.
Bob (DMV) and Maryann
6/16/07 I was just on your site, forwarding to a friend for her to order and I saw a list of people you listed that use your boings. Feel free to add me to you site if you would like. I am a volunteer for the Alex Foundation and the VP and on the board of directors for the Parrots at Play calendar program. I know several people on your list, and have noticed them in stores as well. You can always tell its your product because of the QUALITY! I think your products are wonderful and I recommend them to everyone I know. Keep up the great work, and I’ll be reordering again soon.
Good Morning Jeff,
I saw your ad in Bird Talk magazine and
was intrigued by the forever toys.
I have four birds currently. Tiki
(Harlequin Macaw), Rosie (Grand Eclectus), Trouble (Grey) and Buddy
(Blue Front).
Tiki is my big chewer and has kept us
busy looking for toys that will survive more than a day. I'm sure
you have heard this many times and have had the same situation with
your own pets.
I guess my only concern is how the PVC
is held together. I know just enough about plumbing to be dangerous,
and know that the glue used to hold PVC pipe together basically
melts it together. I guess that I am just worried about toxicity if
Tiki were to get it apart. Can you answer this worry wart's concern?
Thanks so much.
Laurie
Laurie,
I can understand your concern about our PVC toys and how they are
assembled. We have been making these toys for well over 40 years. We
have 16 birds of our own, the oldest being our Festive Amazon at 50
years. PVC and its counterpart Heavy Duty Clear PVC cement are only
toxic when they are in a liquid state. PVC cement becomes PVC in less
than 2 seconds when joined with another piece in the absence of air. It
is 100% safe. All the birds you see on our web site including our
Hyacinth have used them for years. If you have any further questions
feel free to call us 1-800-810-9044. Please scroll our home page and
take note of some of our clients and their credentials.

Hi Barbara and Jeff, Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful play gym … my Amazon has taken to it like a fish to water, and it also gives him plenty of exercise! Hope to you again soon! Best, Laura
4/17/04 Hi Jeff..I just wanted to tell you how much my husband and I love the kitchen sink stand and the trapeze..they are excellant..well thought out..put together excellantly...and worth every penny, specially compared to that other "parrot stand" on the market. You make an excellant product..and I will recommend you to any and all of my parrot list members. We finally had a chance after arriving in NC on Sunday night to get them set up a couple of nights ago..we're still unpacking barrels and boxes. We will be leaving the kitchen sink and trapeze down here till we move in permanently in November. We absolutely love the two items. Thank you very much for everything! Sincerely, Jackie
Jeff & Barbara, Hi, Thanks for oh-so-thoughtfully replacing the wood
toys on my previous kitchen sink order as my umbrella would have destroyed the wood toys
in two seconds. My citron is even worse on his smaller scale, so if you can do the same
with his 3/4" 6 perch kitchen sink we would all be very grateful.
Hi I just wanted to let you know I
bought 3 toys from you Sunday at the bird show in Tysons Corner Va and my Blue In a word, "Wow!" I have bought a lot of bird toys in the past three years but I have to say none, nada, zip...have had the quality or been so awesome! I showed it to Bogie and his crown near hit the ceiling! I'm letting it sit outside his cage for a day so he can get used to it but his beak is drooling something fierce!! Also, thank you so much for the other toy, also very well made and one he will love, no question. Service was excellent, by the way, really fast and I thank you for that, too. Glad you sent the cards and I'll put them to use right away. My cat clients will have no interest in your service so I am going to make up a separate newsletter this week or by next week at the latest and send it, with your card or full information, to my bird clients. Hope it will do you some good. And you will be hearing from me again for future orders. Again, thanks!!! Ron
